Apple has introduced a new feature in iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Venture called lockdown mode. As the name is related to lockdown but it has nothing to do with COVID. Apple new update is for the security of iPhone, iPad, or Mac users. It turns off some features and provides additional defensive security to the users.

This new feature is not for everyone some users might say that they also need this new feature but this time Apple has targeted politicians, journalists, and activists. - Blocks most messages, and attachment types other than images
- Turns off certain web browsing
- Disables link previews
- Blocks invitations and face time calls from unknown sources
- It also disables wired connections to the computer and other gadgets when the device is locked. Also does not allow creating any new profile or giving access to device management.
